Summer is flying by so quickly. This time of year is my favorite! I love the outdoors. The temperature is great for long walks. I enjoy seeing the beautiful landscape in the neighborhood and relaxing with family and close friends.
I have found the simple things in life so enjoyable and fulfilling. God’s presence dwelling inside of us changes our desires!
God has given us an invitation of such a GREAT SALVATION. Words cannot express the mercy and kindness of the Lord!
Once we are saved, God provides an inheritance that is so worth spending our life searching through the Word, talking to God about His amazing promises, and expressing these to others. This revelation burning inside of me changed my life. I am secure in Him.

We must be equipped, encouraged, and empowered to run the race set before us to finish well.
Know the Truth!
Knowing the truth will encourage and empower us to run the race set before us with diligence, fixing our eyes on Jesus, never giving up, and preparing to finish the race being transformed into his image. Life is tough! Curve balls come. We must know how to communicate with God to live with peace, joy, and contentment. Jesus shows us the way through His powerful Word!
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the JOY that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2
JOY-- that is simply mind blowing! Jesus!!
Paul’s life: He ran his race, keeping his eyes and heart fixed on Jesus and things above!
I have fought the good fight I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
2 Tim 4:6-8
Our inheritance in Christ is completely fascinating… exhilarating! It brings our heart alive as we see Him more clearly! In 2003 when I thought I was going to die of leukemia, it was the jewels of the Word, Jesus sacrifice, His love for me, and our great inheritance that kept me in the race!
