Romans 8 is powerful, life-changing, heart transforming... an eye opening description of "Our Life in Christ, Life in the Spirit!" God reveals a mystery as His Spirit unveils His love that is unfathomable, the security of being ADOPTED AS SONS OF GOD! Remember all God's children are sons of God, heirs of God, co-heirs with Jesus Christ, and the BRIDE OF CHRIST!
Here are a few treasures of Truth that will draw you into the heart of God! Romans 8:15-17 "For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out " Abba Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if we are children then "heirs- heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may be glorified together!" How Beautiful. We are never alone. God lives inside our spirit revealing Jesus to us, guiding us, comforting us, and filling our hearts with love, peace, and the hope that anchors our souls! We have hope knowing we will spend eternity with Him!
The chapter of Romans 8 reveals God's ultimate purpose, an advanced plan, an intention, a design! Beloved may your heart be satisfied and filled with awe as you gaze upon these verses that can be written on your heart and mind! Romans 8:28-30 "And we know all things work together for good TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD , to those who are the called according to his purpose. For whom "He foreknew, He also predestined, TO BE CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON, that He might be the first born among many brethren. Moreover He PREDESTINED these He also "CALLED" whom He called these He JUSTIFIED these He also GLORIFIED." I'm amazed! Listen closely to His words: God foreknew and predestined all believers to be like Christ! God has called us and justified us through faith in the blood Jesus shed at the cross. This act of love was to redeem and restore all mankind back to the Father! God's wrath (born into his wrath through Adam and Eve's sin) has been satisfied through the obedience of Jesus dying in our place on that cross so we are made righteous and reconciled back to God!! This is love that He sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins (1 John 4:10). This is great news!! We must believe this Truth to be saved! He continues daily to sanctify us through His Spirit and transforms us to be like His Son! Now we will receive glorious bodies at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ! At His great appearing, we shall look like him! His glory will be revealed in each one of us! 1 Corinthians 15:49 "and as we have born the image of the man of dust we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man!" (Another great mystery revealed.) Romans 8:18 "For I consider the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." I want to finish this blog by revealing to you God's Everlasting love! Romans 8:37-39 "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Friends, don't look back. Know that the Love of God is burning from within to set you free from all things in your past that keep you back from experiencing His great love!
